Introduction to Model Rocketry: From Design to Flight

The Faculty of Engineering at Salim Habib University, in collaboration with Pakistan Space Community and Resolve South, SUPARCO, organized a hands-on training workshop titled “Introduction to Model Rocketry: From Design to Flight” on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at Fatima Business School.

The workshop provided students with an opportunity to explore aerospace engineering concepts and strengthen their understanding through experiential learning. A key highlight was the Water Rocket Glider Competition, which encouraged students to apply engineering principles through experimentation, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Another highlight was the Parachute Deployment Demo, which showcased the mechanics of parachute deployment and its role in model rocketry.
