SHU Host Mark-e-Haq Remembrance Walk

On Thursday, May 7, 2026, Salim Habib University came together as one community to commemorate the one-year remembrance of Marka-e-Haq, a historic moment that stands as a timeless testament to our courage, unity, and unwavering national pride. The occasion was marked with a deeply moving Walk and Flag Hoisting Ceremony that transformed the campus into a canvas of patriotic spirit and collective pride.

The walk was led by Prof. Dr. Irfan Hyder, Vice Chancellor SHU, and Dr. Muhammad Hussain Habib, Registrar SHU. Notably present to commemorate this occasion were the Deans of Faculties, Chairpersons, and Heads of Departments at SHU. The SHU faculty and staff members were also present and participated wholeheartedly in the festivities.

The participants chanted slogans like “Pakistan Zindabad” and carried Pakistani flags, as they revived the national spirit and honored the legacy of freedom.
