Students Gain Hands-On Experience at Chiniot General Hospital During Advanced Clinical Pharmacy Rotation

Doctor of Pharmacy students at Salim Habib University participated in a nine-day visit to Chiniot General Hospital from April 23 to May 6 2026, as part of their Advanced Clinical Pharmacy rotations.

During the rotation, students gained valuable hands-on experience in real-world clinical pharmacy practices and observed how pharmacists collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure the safe, effective, and rational use of medications. The experience provided meaningful insight into patient counseling, medication review, therapeutic monitoring, and the identification and prevention of potential drug interactions in clinical settings.
