It gives us joy to announce that Hurr Abbas and Areeba Soomro, students from Salim Habib University, won 1st Place and 2nd Place respectively in the debate segment of Indus Hospital & Health Network and Indus Yaqeen’s First Youth Conference Meer-e-Karwan Tum Ho, themed 'Unfiltered Truth: The Real Cost of Nicotine', which took place at Beach Luxury Hotel on Sunday, September 8, 2024.Hurr and Areeba had been shortlisted after two rigorous rounds to participate in the final round of debate, where they debated the pros and cons of banning or taxing new nicotine/tobacco products, both ultimately winning 1st and 2nd positions.
