International Women’s Day, observed annually on March 8, focuses on promoting women’s rights, eliminating discrimination and violence against women, and empowering women. The day highlights the need for us to pay attention to pressing issues such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence and abuse against women, and to work to ensure that our world is a safe place for women, where honor, love, and respect for them is widespread.
