SUPARCO Project Closing Ceremony Held at SHU

On Thursday, January 22, 2026, Salim Habib University (SHU) achieved an important milestone by hosting the SUPARCO Project Closing Ceremony, marking the successful completion and formal handover of the first industry-collaborative project undertaken by the Department of Computer Science.

The project titled Compressive Sensing-Based SAR Reconstruction for Marine Ship Detection, was successfully developed and delivered to SUPARCO by Dr. Raazia Sosan Waseem, Assistant Professor & Former Chairperson, Department of Computer Science, Salim Habib University.

The ceremony was honoured by the presence of Dr. A.K.M. Shafaat Ali, Director RESOLVE, Dr. Muhammad Ateeque Qureshi, Deputy Director, RESOLVE, and Dr. Naveed, RESOLVE representative. Notably present from SHU were Prof. Dr. Irfan Hyder, Vice Chancellor, Dr. Muhammad Hussain Habib, Registrar, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zeeshan Ul Haque, Dean Faculty of Information Technology & Engineering, Mr. Syed Zahid Badshah, Professor of Practice, Ms. Pariwash Khan, Deputy Registrar, and Mr. Qadeer Lakho, Assistant Registrar.
