Open House - Spring 2026

The Open House for Spring 2026, organized by the Faculty of Management Sciences, was successfully held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, and saw enthusiastic participation from students across leading colleges in Karachi, who participated and explored educational options beyond the traditional science fields, and to learn about the diverse programs available at SHU.

The event was officially inaugurated with a Ribbon-Cutting ceremony by our honourable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Irfan Hyder, followed by his Welcome Address. Additionally, Dr. Muhammad Hussain Habib, Registrar SHU, and Prof. Dr. Amanat Ali Jalbani, Advisor to the Vice Chancellor & Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences, delivered insightful talks and discussed the university’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and innovation.

Students were briefed by the Program Managers on the cutting-edge Business Management programs offered at our Fatima Business School, along with other academic offerings across the university, and on the various future pathways available to students, helping them better understand the career prospects and academic advancements that SHU can offer.

One of the main highlights of the event was a special interactive session with the renowned Mr. Umair Jaliawala, Motivational Speaker & Trainer and CEO, Torque Corp, and a free counselling session by experienced clinical psychologists and counsellors who provided valuable insights on personal and professional growth and guidance for students as they prepare themselves to embark on their academic journey.

Students also visited our beautiful campus, experienced our international-standard facilities and learning environment, and took a tour of our instructional and recreational spaces, state-of-the-art labs, and uniquely-designed library.

We commend the dedicated efforts of Mr. Muhammad Ekhlaque Ahmed, Chairperson, Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Management Sciences, Director Admissions & Outreach, and Director Center for AoL & Experiential Learning, Mr. Mustehsen Ahmed Vahidy, Senior Manager Admissions & Outreach, Ms. Priyanka Bajaj, Lecturer & Program Manager, Department of Business Administration, Dr. Sadaf Hafeez, Head Psychology Program & Associate Professor, Department of Social Sciences & Humanities, and the entire faculty of Management Sciences, as well as the team Admissions & Outreach, for making this event a resounding success.
