Introduction
Biocomputing and Artificial Intelligence bring together biology, computing, and machine intelligence to solve real-world problems in healthcare, life sciences, and bio-industry. The program trains students to apply programming, data science, and AI techniques to biological and clinical data, enabling tasks such as sequence analysis, biomedical signal/image analysis, computational modelling, and AI-driven decision support. With growing demand for data-literate life-science professionals, graduates are prepared for entry-level roles in bioinformatics, clinical analytics, medical device software, and research-support positions

Program Objectives
- Produce graduates with integrated knowledge of life sciences, computing, and AI to support bioinformatics and clinical data workflows.
- Provide hands-on experience through lab courses, team projects, and internships so graduates can contribute immediately to industry and research teams.
- Encourage ethical, lifelong learning and readiness to continue into baccalaureate programs or specialized technical roles in healthcare and biotech

Applicant should:
- Have at least 60% marks in HSC (pre-engineering/pre-medical/computer science), A levels, or a relevant DAE qualification.
