Today is International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. Poverty is the worst silent enemy of mankind; it is not due to lack of money, rather due to lack of hope.Persons living in poverty experience many interrelated deprivations that perpetuate poverty, including unsafe housing, lack of nutritious food, unequal access to justice, lack of political power and limited access to health care. So, on this day, come together as a society and address the problems of the victims of extreme poverty, violence and hunger. Let’s work together and get one step closer to a poverty-free world.
